Hi! I’ve been reading your blog for about a month now. Found you through Jen at A Tale of 2 Monkeys, and figured this entry meant it was time to stop lurking. I LOVE Phillip Glass, and that guy in the video was seriously cracking me up. Awesome. Now excuse me while I go sit in a corner and think about the baby grand piano at my mother’s house, and how I can’t play it until Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the comment, Ashley! And yes, that guy in the video is hilariously awesome! Be sure to play the video again right before you go to your mother’s for Thanksgiving!
lol, I was obsessed with Philip Glass’s Circles when it came out. I tried to write something that sounded like it fit in that CD for piano class, and my teacher thought I was some sort of genius. Really, like this guy, I was a total copycat who knew exactly what they were doing. Thanks for sharing this video!
he can even play piano without looking on it, what a great piano musician you are, someday i will be better just like you, that’s why i keep n practicing till my fingers broke cause im very obsessed in playing piano.
