Book leaves you with your imagination hence you portray the characters and scenes according to your imaginative skills. But when it comes to movie it is important that you give importance to your eyes i.e. a visual treat is necessary to hold the audience. Slight difference in the looks of the characters does not matter much until you hold on to the original story which the Harry potter director did. I loved Harry potter movies.
